About This Round
As Juno approaches Jupiter Io will once again be in the JunoCam field of view. We will take 11 images. These are not better resolution than what we have already, but are still useful for change detection and detecting plumes. After Juno passes Io it will fly by Amalthea for a small, 4 pixel image. About 45 min from perijove Jupiter will come into JunoCam's field of view.
Perijove Predict Map
About Perijove Predict Maps

Every perijove pass we have the challenge of predicting where Points of Interest will be as the different zones of the planet have different wind velocities. This map shows our effort to rotate the latitudinal zones with their different wind speeds to predict what will be under the Juno groundtrack.

Winner Selection
Closest approach is on Jupiter's night side. We will look for lightning, aurorae and the rings in the dark. Our last illuminated image will be of the northern polar region. We start to image illuminated regions again at ~PJ+3hr.
