About This Round
Inbound to Jupiter we will pass ~200,000 km from Io. We will look for plumes on the terminator and limb. The Jovian perijove pass will feature high resolution views of Jupiter's northern mid-latitudes. As we slowly leave Jupiter outbound after perijove we will have the opportunity to do time-lapse sequences of the southern hemisphere. The departure sequence will be looking at the south polar region for one Jupiter rotation.
Perijove Predict Map
About Perijove Predict Maps

Every perijove pass we have the challenge of predicting where Points of Interest will be as the different zones of the planet have different wind velocities. This map shows our effort to rotate the latitudinal zones with their different wind speeds to predict what will be under the Juno groundtrack.

Winner Selection
No lightning searches for a while - we have too much of the illuminated portion of Jupiter in our field of view.
