This image consists of four tiles. From left to right:

st column: Raw.

nd column: Dark subtracted, where the mean of all framelets is used as the dark. Thereafter 2x2 sensor pattern smoothed by applying a linear filter with a (1,2,1)/4 kernel, first as a row, then as a column vector, resulting in an the application of a 3x3 kernel. Then a linear stretch by a factor of 16.0.

rd column: Tentative annotation: Io, Europa, Saturn (most likely), some stars without identifying them, and an indication where there might or may not be statistically significant signal of a ring. A quantitative assessment remains TBD.

th column: Like the 3d column, just with a roughly 128-fold linear stretch, in order to make use of the full greyscale range for the image noise, and to improve the visibility of the very subtle hint towards an anisotropic linear structure of that image noise next to Io that is not aligned to the horizontal or vertical axis of the image, but tilted by about 6 or 7 degrees.
