This is an animation of Juno's close flyby of Europa that occurred on September 29, 2022. The speed of the animation is accurate, i.e. the real speed of the spacecraft - it has not been speeded up as these animations usually are.

The animation is based on the four images obtained by JunoCam during the flyby. The animation starts on Europa's night side shortly after closest approach and 93 seconds before the first image (image PJ45_1) was obtained. It ends when the last image (image PJ45_4) was obtained. This was a fast flyby so a lot happens early in the animation. However, everything changes very slowly later in the animation when the distance from Europa is much larger than at the start of the animation. Because of this, another version of the animation where the speed has been increased by a factor of 3 is also available.

This animation has a field of view of 80 degrees. North is up.
