Ganymede seen by JunoCam. The image is derived from a raw PJ34 JunoCam image, decompanded and strongly stretched in a linear way in order to to improve contrast.

Subtle blur and sharpening applied to enhance perception of detail a bit.

Then arbitrarily white-balanced and strongly saturation-enhanced, in order to uncover potential hints towards varying composition.

Traces of a reddish hue might, e.g., hint towards space-weathering, traces of tholins, or iron in a high oxidation state, while a brighter and slightly more greenish hue might hint towards fresher, less space-weathered exposure or towards traces of less-oxidized iron.
