Equatorial Zone Cyclone [ID: 1172]

This white nearly camouflaged feature is the only cyclonic feature in the Equatorial Zone. It interacts with the South Equatorial Belt forming a long wedge of lighter clouds in it. The feature has been seen in images dating back to the Voyager 1 probe. It is interesting because it's a lone cyclonic feature in this particular belt, has lasted for possibly decades and is in the same latitude where the hot spots are on the other side of the Equatorial Zone.

    This would be something interesting to learn about. Why it is just this one and why it has not dissipated over decades. What keeps this cyclone alive and in this position specifically.
