Ganymede Occultation Aegina Island, Greece
Description
This series of processed frame show the full occultation of Ganymede by Jupiter on the early to late evening of the 12th December 2023. The observation took several hours from17:14 hrs to 21:14 hrs UTC. Multiple videos were taken of around 2 mins duration each with a ZWO ASI 224 MC camera + x3 Barlow mounted on 150x750 mm Reflector (Skywatcher Star Explorer). Mount was alt-az equipped with GOTO WiFi. Seeing was not the best possible due to humidity from the atmosphere as observatory is based on an island close to sea level.
