Description
685nm IR data. Imaged Jupiter December 8th, a fair level of detail was visible in the live feed but with a continuous flag waving type flutter going through the field. Surprisingly the final processed data has reasonable resolved detail, a credit to the alignment power of AutoStakkert. I note several tiny dark spots within the NPR with a large diffuse bright oval near the CM in the NNTeB. Some structure is resolved in the NEB with an interesting bright intrusion from the NTrZ impinging down into it near the CM. A prominent dark elongated feature is seen on the Southern edge of the NEB between the CM and F limb. Some fine detail is resolved along the Southern edge of the SEB with a small bright oval resolved in the STB near the CM which I suspect is A8.
