A north polar projection map showing the area around Jupiter's north pole. The map was created by stacking the red framelets from images PJ27_7, PJ27_8 and PJ27_9. The stacking results in significantly reduced noise in the resulting image. The contrast was then increased and small scale details sharpened. Only the red framelets were used since they show more details near the terminator than the green and blue framelets (the blue framelets show no details at all at the terminator). A part of the central North Polar Cyclone is clearly visible. Latitudes are planetographic.
