These are the preliminary versions of JunoCam's images of the GRS with 'Clyde's spot'. On 2020 May 31, observer Clyde Foster discovered a new spot that was remarkably bright in the methane band, in the STB latitude south-preceding the GRS, located in a pale cyclonic streak that we had been monitoring for some months. This seems to have been a brief but powerful convective eruption, which may now be evolving into a larger structure. JunoCam got these very fortunate closeups of the early stages. --John Rogers.
